Tasting notes :
Colour : gold.
Nose : a spicy, woody nose that might suggest a Lowlands Whisky.
Palate : it mirrors the nose, full of spices, woodiness and remarkable roundness.
Finish : Its almost peaty finish, with notes of toasted wood, brings to mind a Scotch Whisky. Undoubtedly the most Whisky-like of all Cognac !
Grape variety : Folle blanche.
Harvest : 2011.
Ageing : minimum 10 years in French oak barrels.
