Tasting notes :
Colour : beautiful light gold.
Nose : fruity and floral with a lot of finesse.
Palate : fresh fig from the garden, citrus fruits, with the roundness of muscat grape variety, almond paste and orange blossom.
Finish : both gourmet and warm as it seems subtly spicy.
Cru : Grande Champagne, 1st of the Cognac appellation. Clay-limestone soil.
Grape variety : Ugni blanc.
Distillation on lees.
To be served as an aperitif, with cheese or Bayonne ham or dessert (apple pie).
