Tasting notes :
Colour : pale straw yellow.
Nose : complex. There are aromas of fruit (pear, quince and grape), spices and notes of evolution : walnut and sultana.
Palate : it's full-bodied and very aromatic, with a jammy flavour (pear, grape). Good overall balance (sugar/acidity).
It's the aperitif in the Charentes region, but it also goes wonderfully with foie gras or a Roquefort pie. You can also enjoy it with a good goat's cheese.
Grape varieties : Ugni blanc and Montils.
Organic farming methods since 1995.
Terroir : clay-limestone soils.
