Tasting notes :
Colour : deep brown with intense, brilliant highlights.
Nose : rich, opening with notes of candied fruit : apricot, quince, and prune. It then develops elegant woody nuances, cigar box, and camphor, before revealing a subtly spicy structure with hints of clove and nutmeg. Then, a subtle rancio attests to the advanced age of the eaux-de-vie.
Palate : delicate and smooth, revealing the delicious intensity of fruit jellies, with hints of ripe plum and vine peach.
Finish : long and persistent, harmoniously combining rancio, spices, noble wood and a touch of tobacco.
