Tasting notes :
Colour : very dark gold.
Nose : spices (black pepper and coriander) and red berries. Fruity aromas : fig compote, almond and walnut. Beeswax and sandalwood.
Palate : light woody flavour and very pronounced oak at first, round and fruity (notes of fig and wood) on the palate, before revealing the power and finesse of Borderies eaux-de-vie.
Finish : long and silky finish on the palate.
Grape variety : Ugni blanc.
Cru : Borderies.
Ageing : in new French Limousin oak barrels.
